Since 2008, this energetic quintet from Saint-Étienne has been shaping its repertoire, drawing inspiration from the evolution of rock ’n’ roll right back to its origins. In 2023, the band welcomed Ana Ka, a new singer who brings the old songs to life and adds her own touch to the new repertoire, drawing on her wide-ranging vocal and stage experience (The Voice, Killer Queen in *We Will Rock You* the musical, the French voice in Disney’s *Encanto*, etc.)

The adventure continues with this swaggering blues, this poignant soul and this frenzied rock – the very ingredients that make up the band’s true DNA. Inspiration is drawn from the African roots of music, and every effort is made to share songs where boldness, power, emotion and originality combine to create the finest of magic potions.

A sincere and spellbinding voice, modern guitars that never forget their roots, wild boogie rhythms and the groove of a powerful rhythm section. That’s DEVIL JO in a nutshell: a big, modern sound that’ll do you a world of good!
