Description

A must-see neo-chanson French act on stage – she’s such a force of nature!

This brilliant Nana is a ray of sunshine. She shines on stage, deeply emotional, with a sensitive heart; between laughter, smiles, melancholy and heartache, the whole spectrum is there with her accordion and her voice.
Her new album ‘J’suis pas une rockstar’ now takes on a more traditional French chanson feel, infused with pop-rock, thanks to the arrival of her new drummer Nicolas Courret (Eiffel, Laetitia Shériff), who also served as the album’s artistic director.
As a trio, Ludovic Hellet – an outstanding and original double-bass player – adds richness and warmth to her neo, retro and multifaceted French chanson. With a guinguette vibe and an accordion, the trio pushes towards contemporary urban sounds, complete with top-notch hip-hop rhythms and a decidedly rock energy. This lovely, feisty redhead is neither a modern-day Yvette Horner nor a living, breathing Édith Piaf, but rather a red-haired version of Mano Solo, a Renaud 2.0; one is reminded of the band Java teaming up with Yves Jamait, or Suprême NTM jamming with Zaz’...

Wherever she goes, hearts go wild, and it works for audiences of all ages… This girl is a dynamic and sensitive force on stage… not to be missed – she’s going to take the world by storm…
