Talk given by Christian Roy. He is a keen insect and spider enthusiast and a member of the Association des Naturalistes Vendéens.
Description
One of the aims of the conference will be to reconcile arachnophobes with this small animal.
The talk will situate spiders in the classification of the animal world, describe them and explain their behaviour, including the different methods they use to hunt them (in particular, how they make their webs).
Hopefully, by the end of the talk, everyone present will have a different view of this charming little eight-legged beast.
Open to all.
The talk will be followed by a friendly drink.
