Exposition “Hall of femmes”

To mark International Women's Rights Day on 8 March, Les Voyageurs multimedia library is hosting an exhibition by Les Huppes enjouées, a group of women from Mareuillaise.

They have selected 10 contemporary women, known and recognised for their commitment, each in their own field.

From 2 to 16 March, these 10 women will have their names affixed to plaques in 10 streets in Mareuil-sur-Lay-Dissais.

And throughout March, there will be an exhibition retracing the career of these 10 women. The exhibition will be on display at Mareuil-sur-Lay-Dissais town hall and Les Voyageurs media library.

Come and meet Les huppes enjouées on Saturday 7 March at 11am at Les Voyageurs multimedia library.
Les huppes enjouées will be talking to you about the creation of their collective and their work to promote the visibility of women in the public space.

The "Hall of femmes" exhibition can be viewed from 3 to 31 March 2026 during library opening hours: Tuesdays and Fridays (3.30pm-7pm), Wednesdays (10am-1pm / 2pm-7pm), Saturdays (10am-1pm / 3pm-5.30pm).
