Festival de musique l’Abbé Idéal – Concerts du soir

For 6 days, the Abbey of SAINT-MICHEL EN L'HERM, an exceptional piece of historic Vendée heritage, will be hosting the "Abbé Idéal" festival, offering a programme of classical music that's accessible, diverse and joyful! Professional musicians of the highest calibre bring you top-quality concerts in a luxurious acoustic setting and a place full of soul. Discovering or rediscovering the great classical and romantic works will be the main theme of this third edition.
Beethoven symphonies played as chamber music, piano recitals in a subdued atmosphere, folk music concerts, educational concerts of classical hits... there's something for everyone!
Partnerships with the music school and the Herm residence for the elderly continue to anchor this festival within the region and consolidate links with local players.

A subscription package is available for the 5 evening concerts:

Sunday 27 July, 8pm: Héroïque - Beethoven's 3rd Symphony in Quartet with Piano
Monday 28 July, at 7pm: Family-friendly - Classical hits explained to children
Tuesday 29 July, 8pm: Populaire-Atypical string duo inspired by folk and jazz.
Thursday 31 July, 9pm: Nocturne-Piano recital in a subdued atmosphere
Friday 1 August, at 8 pm: Champêtre-Beethoven's Pastoral Symphony for string sextet

Each concert can also be taken individually.
