To mark European Heritage Days, step inside the Maison du Maître de Digues and discover the history of the Marais Poitevin.

Housed in a former dike master’s house, in the heart of the drained marsh, the Maison du Maître de Digues tells the story of how people have shaped this landscape over the centuries. Dikes, canals, water management and daily life in the marsh are all revealed during the tour.

Admission is free.

Please note: the Huttiers Room is temporarily closed to the public. The other exhibition areas remain open.
