HORSE RACING TRACKS ENCLOSES

Description

It was in 1843 that the Hippodrome de Luçon was built. Gradually and over time, the site expanded with the construction in 1902 of a large grandstand and a commissaires' room in the 1950s. 2015 marked the return of racing, with two horse races scheduled (harnessed and mounted trotting races).
It is equipped with a grass track, left rope 1354 meters long and 24 meters wide, with a clearance track.
Races are held during the summer.
