Duration (average): 1h00
Start: MAREUIL-SUR-LAY-DISSAIS

Description

Pierre & Marie arrive at the Mareuil-sur-Lay-Dissais municipal campsite. Their parents explain that the stream that runs just a few metres from their tents is the river they have already encountered at La Faute-sur-Mer, the Lay.

Pierre & Marie found it curious that a village had been built so close to the water. They decided to set off to discover this strange village, whose houses are surrounded by water.

Take a walk through the streets of Mareuil-sur-Lay-Dissais with Pierre & Marie to find out all about the history of this village on the banks of the Lay. Take a good look around you and watch out for cars as you cross the streets.

This walk is open to everyone, all year round. It was put together by the Sud Vendée Littoral Tourist Office.

Park in the Clemenceau car park and meet Pierre & Marie in front of the Tourist Office.

Come on, let's get going!
