Beekeeper, Les Butinades
Description
In the heart of the Marais Poitevin Regional Nature Park, with its canals and unique flora, the Butinades bees move freely from flower to flower, producing products of exceptional quality.
In 2022, the opportunity arose to take over a certified organic beekeeping operation and the desire to share our natural treasures: honey, propolis, pollen, royal jelly and wax. What's the aim? To offer products that will delight gourmets and gourmands, while being beneficial to health and usable on a daily basis. Being certified organic is more than just a label - it's a philosophy!
In 2022, Les Butinades products were naturally awarded the "Valeurs Parc" label:
Natural beehives, made from wood and sustainable materials.
Beehives located in the Park (Saint-Denis-du-Payré, Vouillé-les-Marais, Chaillé-les-Marais).
A protected environment, with over 50% of the surrounding area (within a 3km radius) farmed organically or covered in wild flora.
No chemical treatments, no destruction of broods or mutilation of queens.
100% natural production. Butinades honey follows its natural cycle. The beekeeper respects the development rhythm of the swarm and leaves enough honey and pollen for it to feed on.
You can find our products at local markets or in outlets committed to organic farming.
