Boutique de La Distylerie

Located opposite the cathedral, in a renovated former distillery, the Luçon Tourist Office welcomes you all year round to help you plan your stay in the Southern Vendée.

Description

Our team will be on hand to help you prepare for your stay in the Vendée du Sud, with ideas for visits, walks for all abilities, tide times, ticket sales and practical advice on how to make the most of the destination.

The shop showcases local produce and know-how. It features a fine selection of gourmet specialities and artisanal creations from Vendée du Sud and Vendée. Honey from the Marais Poitevin, herbal teas and herbs, syrup, homemade pasta made from locally-grown wheat, vegetable soups, chocolates and gourmet biscuits... the shelves tell the story of the Destination through its flavours.

There are also a number of well-known Vendée specialities like mogettes and farci poitevin, as well as more surprising products like locally-grown saffron in mustard or jelly. Other delicacies invite you to take an aperitif or discover new things: home-made rillettes, honey-based specialities, and Troussepinète vendéenne, to be enjoyed chilled.

The shop also offers a selection of local craft beers and a host of gift ideas. Postcards, magnets, posters, books and souvenirs from the destination will help you extend your experience and take home a little piece of the Southern Vendée.

The Distylerie is also home to a number of cultural areas: a Micro-Folie, a digital museum that allows visitors to discover great works of art in a different way, an Artothèque dedicated to the loan of works of art, the Henri Vrignaud exhibition gallery and a seminar area for business meetings.

It's a lively place, open to all, to discover when you're in Luçon.
