EGLISE SAINT NICOLAS
Description
The basilica-style church stands out from the neo-Gothic buildings that abounded in the 19th century. The nave is lit by half-roses above the aisles. The stained glass windows were made in 1949 by Degas from the Vendée. The painted wooden ceiling was replaced by a coffered ceiling, and the apse is in stucco, in the style of an altarpiece. It was restored in 2000.
It houses the ex-voto of the sailing ship "La Victoire".
