Vineyard Le Clos des Chaumes
Description
In 1955, Fabien Murail's grandfather, René Crépeau, began winegrowing by planting 1 hectare of vines. His father, Gustave Murail, then developed the business by increasing the vineyard to 11 hectares, mainly planting Rosé and Red varieties. Today, the story continues with Fabien, trained in the trade and with a wealth of experience in different vineyards in France. He has introduced new white grape varieties (Chenin-Chardonnay) and relaunched the Château Brédurière vineyard.
They are called : Jadis, Amuse-gueule, Convoitise or simply Le clos des chaumes, from red to rosé to white and sparkling, all the wines are authentic and subtle.
In winter, the winery is open by appointment.
In summer, take advantage of the rides in the marathon car, driven by Cédrine and pulled by her sidekicks, Athos or Tara, to discover the wine-growing environment and taste the estate's products during the "Balade gourmande autour des Fiefs Vendéens".
