Welcome to this guest house, which has been open for over 30 years. A spacious country retreat, formerly an abbey residence that was remodelled after the Revolution, our family manor welcomes you with discretion and care.
The Château de l’Abbaye offers two styles of guest rooms.
The rooms at the Château:
From romantic and superior rooms to the Deluxe room and the Junior Suite with a jacuzzi, enjoy a moment out of time.
Each room offers the utmost comfort: top-of-the-range bedding, satin sheets, individual air conditioning, a minibar with complimentary water, a television and DVD player, high-quality towels, and free, secure Wi-Fi.
Dine romantically, with friends or family, by candlelight, with fires crackling in the fireplaces, and enjoy generous home-style cooking made from fresh, high-quality produce, mainly sourced from the region.

The rooms at Le Portail in the Poitevin Marshes:
Le Portail is a building that has retained its original character: limestone, ‘tiges de bottes’ roof tiles, lime plaster, antique terracotta floor tiles, exposed beams… It has preserved the understated elegance of Cistercian architecture.
The charming rooms and suites with private jacuzzis offer true luxury in simplicity: top-of-the-range bedding, satin sheets, fine materials, beautiful furniture and high-tech facilities.
