8.30pm - Appelez-moi François is a duo in search of the original innocence of pop. The kind that stands out for its elegance, its melancholy humour, its sonic inventions and the way it sets French lyrics to British-tinged melodies. Appelez-moi François cultivates sixties sounds revamped with vintage keyboards and old 80s drum machines, as if searching for a lost Eden, a musical territory where Mathieu Boogaerts, Philippe Katerine and Louis Chedid have gone before them.
