Description
The Pierre Menanteau multimedia library, which heads up the Sud Vendée Littoral network of libraries and multimedia libraries, has 75,000 titles spread over 4 areas.
An album area: with its colourful houses and cushions, discover the area reserved for our little readers aged 0 to 6. Hardback books, albums, stories, documentaries, magazines and first readings will help your children discover reading.
A young people's area: In a spacious area, 7-14 year olds can take advantage of a range of books to borrow or discover on site: novels, non-fiction, comics, magazines, CD books, etc. It's also a place to work, with dictionaries and encyclopaedias available. Librarians are on hand to answer questions, advise and guide young readers. Teenagers are also catered for, with a special area offering a selection of novels and documentaries geared towards their interests and concerns.
An adult area: The adult area contains a wide range of documents. A press consultation area lets you browse through 44 titles. Work areas and internet access are also available.
CD and DVD area: This includes a CD collection with over 2,000 titles and a DVD collection with over 750 titles.
