This garden has been created in partnership with the Marais Poitevin Regional Nature Park, the municipality of Saint-Denis-du-Payré, the LPO, the association L’école buissonnière and a number of local residents.
6.30–7.00 pm: Official opening
7.00–7.45 pm: Performance of ‘Pour une poignée de pollen’ by Compagnie 24.92 (created and funded as part of the Life Wild Bees project)
Synopsis: After being exposed to a chemical, a man shrinks to the size of a bee and discovers their daily lives. Having become aware of the issues they face, he returns to the human world and becomes the bees’ spokesperson.
7.45 pm–8.30 pm: A convivial drinks reception
