The Exchange Counter

A place where you can exchange fruit and vegetables, equipment, utensils and anything else related to cooking: surplus from vegetable gardens and orchards, recipe and gardening books, jars, sterilisers, seeds, etc.

Description

What is the "comptoir d'échange"?
It's a place where you can swap fruit and vegetables, equipment, utensils and anything else related to cooking: surplus produce from vegetable gardens and orchards, recipe and gardening books, jars, sterilisers, seeds, etc.
It's also a place where people can get together to chat about recipes, cooking tips and ideas for reducing waste.
In short, it's a place where people can meet, exchange and share ideas, and help combat waste and over-consumption.
Note: you don't have to take anything with you if you want to leave with vegetables, for example. And if you just want to drop off some kitchen utensils, you can, without taking anything in return.

Where is it located and who can go there?
It's located in the building on Place de l'Orangerie in Sainte-Hermine, next to the church square. Open to all: Not just residents of Sainte-Hermine! People from neighbouring towns, departments or regions can drop off or take away whatever they want.
