Atelier Aquarelle

During this workshop, you will be introduced to the watercolour technique, which is particularly well suited to capturing reality 'on the spot', before putting it into practice by drawing inspiration from the plants in William Christie's Gardens. You'll be able to develop your sense of observation as well as your artistic skills... while rediscovering the gardens with fresh eyes!

The workshop will be led by Olga Ahaponova, a young Ukrainian illustrator living in Spain. Olga completed her end-of-studies internship with the Fondation Les Arts Florissants - William Christie, during which she was able to immerse herself in the Jardins de William Christie and draw all the different areas. On the strength of this experience, she will be delighted to share her passion and her art with the participants in this workshop - which will mark the culmination of her work at Thiré!
