Autour des mules – 2ème Assises Nationales du Mulet

Come and experience a day "Around the mules". The Maison du Maitre de Digues site is hosting the 2ᵉ assises du mulet and is offering you a wide range of activities to discover the history of this animal from a historical and socio-cultural perspective:
- Talk by the Twenty mule team,
- Exhibition on the Mulassière industry
- Workshops and demonstrations
- Model and gait competition
- Equestrian show by the Chandelae troupe
- Autumn sales of the Poitou mulass breeds.

Refreshments and catering on site.

Other events as part of the 2nd Mule Conference at the Lycée Pétré in Sainte-Gemme-la-Plaine.

Thursday 16/10 :
8pm => "Histoire de mules" at Théâtre Le Jean-Baptiste in Chaillé-les-Marais (all audiences)

Friday 17/10 :
2.30pm to 6pm => Mule production in 2025: Retrospective and current status of the different breeds of mule.

Saturday 18/10 :
09.30am to 11.30am => Use: foot care, equipment and facilities
11.30am to 1pm => Education round table
14:30 to 18:30 => Demonstrations and workshops
