Concert, Memphis Soul

Memphis, mythical city and musical melting pot, speaks out here to tell its story beyond the facts and legends. It's the soul of Memphis that is revealed, the city that has seen the birth and growth of such rich musical currents as Gospel, Blues, Rock'n'Roll and Soul.
So many voices that have risen over time to embody dreams, struggles and hopes.

Eleven musicians embody this musical diversity, playing the key songs that have shaped Memphis (Al Green, Robert Johnson, Sam Cook and many others).

The show is the brainchild of Thomas Doucet, whose aim is not only to convey the very essence of Memphis, but also to thrill audiences with his trademark energy and infectious emotion.

With the participation of students from the CHAM and music option classes at the Collège and Lycée Sainte-Ursule in Luçon.
