8.30pm: Hopa Tzika concert (Traditional Gypsy music from the East and the Balkans)
Hopa Tzika takes you on a journey to the place where East and West meet, in the footsteps of the vanished Byzantine Empire.
Now a mosaic of countries, each one cultivates its own differences and cultural richness, notably through its traditional music, which is still very much alive, despite having all but disappeared from our shores.
Hopa Tzika is also about following the path of the gypsy people who crossed these lands, sometimes settling here, always drawing inspiration from the local folklore until they became an integral part of it and carried it back.
So get on board the Orient Express, and watch out for the departure...
And let the music begin!
