Exposition, Inspirations aquatiques
At La Distylerie, the Galerie Henri Vrignaud hosts temporary exhibitions dedicated to contemporary art. The first exhibition, "Inspirations aquatiques", plunges visitors into the poetic world of water.
Description
Water is everywhere in the Vendée: rivers, marshes, the ocean... It can also fall from the sky, in the form of rain or a light mist. Essential to life, water is also a source of inspiration for many of the region's artists.
This exhibition brings together the work of three contemporary artists based in the South Vendée: Nicolas Désiré Frisque, Lionel Hug and Fabrice Hyber. Through painting, drawing and photography, their works invite us to reflect on our relationship with the environment, while celebrating the beauty of the natural elements that shape watery landscapes.
