Castle La Chevallerie

Registered and listed sites

"La Chevallerie" takes its name from the important Templar commandery that once stood here. It is owned by powerful families close to the Kings and Queens of France. It was also the headquarters of the Republican Army during the French Revolution.

Description

For the past 20 years, La Chevallerie has been slowly coming back to life, thanks to a passionate restoration effort that has brought its history-laden stones back to life.
