Au Fil des Siècles, au Fil des Mains

A unique exhibition of 10 craftsmen at the Château de la Chevallerie in Sainte-Gemme-la-Plaine.

To mark the JEMA (Journées Européennes des Métiers d'Art) 2026, 10 craftspeople have decided to combine their skills for one weekend. The exhibition will be held at the Château de la Chevallerie from 10 to 12 April 2026.

This year's theme is "From the heart to the work". Come and discover these trades that have travelled through history to carve out a place for themselves in today's world.

In the heart of a magnificent 13th-century building, Lunetière, Tapestry-maker, Canneur-rempailleur, Plumassière, Glass artist, Paper artist, Potière, Feutrière, Needle-painter and Weaver will be showing you their skills.

You'll be able to watch demonstrations and take part in workshops, so you too can put your heart into discovering these rare crafts.
