“Give me your violin”!
The Devil, in disguise, promises a young soldier wealth and absolute knowledge in exchange for his musical instrument… Three female musicians, accompanied by an actor, bring to life with humour and virtuosity the famous “The Soldier’s Tale” by Igor Stravinsky and Charles-Ferdinand Ramuz. A biting musical tale, a famous and major work in the 20th-century repertoire. An opportunity to bring to life, as an echo, the poignant accounts drawn from the diaries of soldiers from Saint-Michel during the Great War, collected and transcribed by Bernard Pineau.
