“le ménage à Troie n’aura pas lieu”
Description
The year is 1618 BC, the time of ancient Greece, in the mythical city of Troy. Hippolytus, the hero of the play, is having an adulterous affair with Marie, the wife of his best friend Agamemnon. Agamemnon knows that Marie is cheating on him, but he doesn't know with whom. Marie and Hippolyte try to get rid of Agamemnon so that they can live out their affair in the open and inherit his fortune. But one thing leads to another, and the plan is called into question.
When ancient tragedy meets boulevard comedy, the result is a totally absurd and offbeat cocktail.
