VOIX AU CHAPITRE, Lecture poétique et musicale à plusieurs voix
Description
To open the Heritage Days, Dominique Sorrente, resident poet at the Abbey of Saint-Michel en l'herm during the summer, is offering a poetic and musical reading in several voices. The chosen theme is "What passes and what remains".
For this special event, Dominique Sorrente will be welcoming guest poets Laurence VERREY, a Swiss author, Albane GELLÉ, an author from the Loire region, and the two Vendée authors LUCE GUILBAUD and CATHIE BARREAU.
With the participation of two readers: Véronique DUPRAT and Françoise ARNAUD.
Musical accompaniment will be provided by Rémy ARNAUD (lute), Michel NODÉ-LANGLOIS (clarinet) and Dominique SORRENTE (voice and guitar).
This second edition of VOIX AU CHAPTER at Saint-Michel en l'Herm Abbey will be the opening event of the Journées du Patrimoine (Heritage Days), the 2025 theme of which is Architecture. It's a perfect opportunity to share some remarkable poetic voices and discover or rediscover the chapter house, one of the jewels of this timeless abbey.
In addition to the poetry and music reading, the poets will be presenting their recent works.
