Welcome to the holiday cottage at the Domaine de la Denerie, in the heart of the Vendée countryside. This remarkable 17th-century estate comprises, amongst other things, our main house and the holiday cottage. The whole property has been carefully renovated to offer comfort and charm. Our guests have their own entrance, a terrace and access to the pool area. The property offers stunning views over the open grounds.
The one-hectare garden leads to the orchard and a river (and retention canal) spanned by a wooden bridge.

We offer accommodation for 8 to 9 people. It comprises 4 bedrooms (1 on the ground floor and 3 upstairs) with 2 single beds (90), 2 white double beds (80) (1 of which can be extended to 160), 2 160-bed beds, 2 shower rooms with a large shower and WC, one of which is on the ground floor, one bathroom with a bath and toilet, one separate toilet on the ground floor, one lounge with TV/HTML/Netflix, one children’s play area with a TV and DVD player, a fully equipped kitchen, an outdoor terrace with outdoor seating (barbecue) and a large dining table. On-site activities: table tennis, petanque, football, badminton, etc.

Thanks to its charm and tranquillity, this holiday cottage is an ideal destination for families and friends seeking a retreat in the French countryside. We have neighbours at the rear of the property and ask our guests to respect their privacy and the peace and quiet of the surroundings.

Its central location in the Vendée bocage is ideal, as it offers countless activities.
The gîte is situated 20 minutes from Vouvant (a medieval town), 30 minutes from the Natur’zoo in Mervent, its water sports centre and Pierre Brune Park; 30 minutes from the Baron Aventure Park in Fontenay-le-Comte and the mechanical animals in La Roche-sur-Yon; 35 minutes from Puy du Fou; 1 hour from the Château des Aventuriers, 1 hour from the beaches of the Vendée, Nantes and La Rochelle, and 1 hour 30 minutes from Futuroscope.

It is a 1-hour drive from Nantes or La Rochelle airports. TGV stations, including La Roche-sur-Yon, are 40 minutes away.
A parking space is available on the property for guests staying at the gîte. It is not suitable for motorhomes or caravans.
