The Maison du Maître de Digues is an iconic site in the Marais Poitevin: it was here, in the 17th century, that water management was organised.

Discover the role of the dykes, the picturesque landscapes and life in the 19th century. Visit whatever the weather and keep the children entertained with our paper activity booklet or the interactive Baludik experience.

Guided tours are available on Wednesdays and Fridays during the summer months.
