Conférence : la migration des Oiseaux et les suivis de migration

The LPO Vendée has been monitoring bird migration at the emblematic Pointe de L'Aiguillon site every year since 1993, from 1 September to 30 November. The count helps us to learn more about bird populations and attracts volunteers from all over France to take part in training and a highlight of the association's activities.

Hosted by the LPO Vendée, this conference will provide an opportunity to present the fascinating phenomenon of bird migration and the mysteries of migration monitoring carried out across France, illustrated by the autumn 2025 monitoring at the Pointe de l'Aiguillon, its organisation and results. Jeanne Desmaison and Lou Maupu, volunteers at the Pointe de L'Aiguillon in 2025 and guests at this conference, will share their experience and knowledge of bird migration.
