Festival de musique l’Abbé Idéal

The Abbé Idéal Music Festival offers six days of concerts and entertainment in the warm and inspiring setting of the Abbey of Saint-Michel-en-l'Herm. Passionate musicians come together to present a carefully curated programme, accessible to all, allowing you to appreciate the magic of live music in exceptional acoustics and surroundings.
From Igor Stravinsky to Franz Schubert, via songs and storytelling, this fourth edition explores the rich connection between music and text. Children will be invited to sing along, the Abbey will bring legends to life, soldiers’ tales will be read aloud, and women’s voices will take centre stage, with numerous female composers featured in the programmes.
We look forward to seeing many of you there so that, together, we can create a shared story!
