Fête de la musique

In keeping with the original spirit of this major community event, the Town of Luçon has invited artists, singers, musicians and dancers – whether amateur or professional – to showcase their talents and make a name for themselves by taking part in this festival, which promotes music-making and celebrates live music in all its forms.

This Sunday, 21 June, this free event, open to all musical genres, will take place in the town centre, in the following squares and streets:


In the afternoon, the artists who have answered the town’s call will take to several public spaces in a community seeking a musical high and infectious passion.

Place Richelieu

6.30 pm: musicians from the inter-municipal music school will perform their final concert of the season;
7 pm: the Luçon Philharmonic Society will enthusiastically and generously share the full richness of its repertoire.
The sound recycling duo Zicolo will wander the streets with their stand equipped with a dozen repurposed objects, a truly recycled drum kit brimming with musical creativity.


Place Leclerc

From 8 pm to 1 am: the Bahamas Orchestra will take you on a musical and human adventure to be enjoyed to the full;
Around 11 pm, as night falls, the lighting of the traditional Saint John’s Fire will be as magical as ever!
