THE ENCOUNTER OF HERITAGE AND CREATION

On Saturday 21 and Sunday 22 September, the arts and crafts sector invites you to the heart of the Jardin Dumaine and the Salle des Fêtes for its major annual event, "Les Rencontres du Patrimoine et de la Création".

Two days devoted to arts and crafts, heritage and gardening in one of the most beautiful public gardens in the Pays-de-la-Loire. For the more delicate crafts, such as gold leaf gilding, the artisans will also be taking their place in the village hall adjoining the garden.

For its 12th edition, Les Rencontres du Patrimoine et de la Création will bring together around a hundred exhibitors from the four corners of the Vendée and beyond to showcase their skills and share their passion with the public.

This event is organised by the Office de Tourisme Vendée du Sud with the support of the Communauté de Communes Sud Vendée Littoral, the commune of Luçon, the Conseil Départemental de la Vendée, the Chambre des Métiers de l'Artisanat de Vendée and the Région Pays de la Loire - Mission "Pays de la Loire - Métiers d'Art".

This year, come and discover a whole host of free events for all the family. Enjoy a magical concert by Cécile Corbel on the lake, an internationally acclaimed harpist. Come and admire the poetic and musical performances of giant bubbles. And don't leave without your colourful plant-based hairstyle by Mystérieuses Coiffures.

The Rencontres du Patrimoine et de la Création only last for one weekend each year, so remember to book your tickets early to take advantage of preferential rates!
