Do you dream of a peaceful moment, a book in your hand and your feet in the sand? The Beach Library is open all summer long in a welcoming outdoor space. Free to access, it offers a wide selection of books, which you can enjoy on site or take away with you. Open Tuesday to Sunday from 2.30 pm to 7.30 pm.

A wide selection to suit all tastes. There’s something for everyone:
- Novels for all ages and genres
- Recent comics and manga
- Children’s books and picture books
- A variety of practical guides
- Books to help you discover the Vendée
- Up-to-date newspapers and magazines

New summer additions and free-to-play games
Since 2024, the library has also offered beach games. Available to borrow or use on-site, these games enhance the fun, family-friendly atmosphere of the venue. As a result, young and old alike can easily alternate between reading and having fun.

Opening event
The season kicks off with a bang on Saturday 4 July at 5.00 pm with a family-friendly music quiz featuring cartoon heroes. Come and test your knowledge, alone or in a group, with family or friends, and try to win the game in a festive atmosphere.
