The beach at La Pointe is one of the furthest away from the heart of L'Aiguillon-la-presqu'île. It is therefore somewhat isolated, offering its users the luxury of feeling privileged...


Here you'll find peace and quiet for an afternoon siesta or a spot of reading... the view is no less breathtaking, offering an exceptional panorama of La Rochelle and the Ile de Ré... Fishing enthusiasts are welcome...

Swimming here is unsupervised and prohibited at the extreme tip. The biological stakes are high due to a prefectoral biotope protection order and classification as a national nature reserve. Dogs are not allowed on the beach or in the dunes.

From April to August, be on the lookout: the long-necked gravelot breeds on the beach. To protect the eggs and broods, please walk DOWN the beach.
