On 10 and 11 October, the former church in Dissais, Mareuil-sur-Lay, will host a Fire Arts Market. Nine craftspeople who use fire to transform materials will be present in the building: potters, a glassblower, a stained-glass artist, a metalworker, an enameller and a metal jewellery designer.

On 10 and 11 October, the former church in Dissais, Mareuil-sur-Lay, will host a Fire Arts Market.
Following two editions of its potters’ market, the Mingaco association – Collectif Métiers d’Art has
chosen this time to showcase craftspeople who transform materials using fire. Although the event was originally scheduled for July, the weather had other ideas, so
it will now take place in the autumn.
Nine craftspeople will be present in the building: potters, a glassblower, a stained-glass artist, a metalworker, an enameller and a metal jewellery designer. Visitors are invited to come and discover these techniques and crafts and to chat with the
artisans in attendance.
